We operate from public vantage points or locations where we have permission to be. No trespassing, no pretexting, no unlawful tracking devices. Evidence obtained unlawfully is worse than no evidence at all.
Every method we use is chosen with an eye toward admissibility: proper chain of custody, lawful surveillance techniques, and documentation that holds up when opposing counsel starts asking questions.

Yes. Investigative work in California is regulated under the Private Investigator Act, requiring licensure through the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services after qualifying experience, a written exam and a criminal background check.
Not without consent. California law prohibits using an electronic tracking device to follow a person without their consent, with narrow exceptions such as the registered owner of the vehicle. We only use methods that are lawful and that will hold up in court.
That is the goal of every assignment. You receive a written chronological report supported by timestamped video and stills, with chain of custody documented from collection to delivery, and the investigator can sign a declaration and testify if the matter goes to trial.
